A LADY THAT HAS TO SHOW IT!

A lady that has to show it
Doesn't know
It is a thin line between dress-sense and nonsense!
I don't need to dress half naked
To show that I was gorgeously created

My Father's glory radiates on me
And I know it!
You can call me princess
I am the precious daughter of the king of kings!
Beautiful,fearfully and wonderfully made

Just in case you didn't know,
God was simply showing off
When He created me
Forget the big bang
I was made in His image and likeness
My body, He found worthy to be His temple

I might be the choice of many
But many ain't good enough for me
Flattering, money and gifts can't buy me
My price is far above rubies
I am simply worth more than gold and silver
That's a statement of fact,I know it!

Many women do noble things
But I surpass them all
A lady that has to show it
Doesn't know
Charm is deceptive and beauty is vain
But a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised
I am a virtuous woman
And of course I know it!

This post is dedicated to all my lovely, sweet, godly and gorgeous sisters/friends all over the world. These days in the world and even in some of our churches, nudity seems to be the order of the day! It is understandable when sinners dress half-naked(that is what sinners should do anyway) but when Christian sisters dress up exposing vital areas of their body all in the name of trying to looking nice, it can be really shameful and disgusting! As a daughter of the most high God, your boobs/thighs have no business making public appearances, please Learn to cover up! You can still look classy and gorgeous when your private areas remain PRIVATE! Remember the bible says our body is the temple of the Lord and if we truly believe this, we will treat our body with more respect . Guard your body jealously!  Always make an effort to present your body to God as a holy and living sacrifice (Romans 12:1)  and don't let anyone ever talk you into doing something you will regret later with your body.

Love you all,

LadyMay

Why worry? Help for the worried and anxious !

credit: Cynthia Corsetti
Life is a journey that is not always smooth, sometimes we go through stuffs and get faced with one challenge or the other. At such times, instead of trusting God to take full control of things, what most of us do is to get worried and anxious.  All the anti- worry and anxiety pills we need to get through life's journey are right in the bible so rather than write something new, I think it's best we analyse Matthew 6:27-33. I've used the New Living Translation Bible version to make it easier.

Verse 27 of Matthew 6 asks us a very good question "Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?" The answer is NO! A post I read on facebook a while ago said "Anxiety is an expensive habit. Of course, it might be worth the cost if it worked but it doesn’t. Our frets are futile. Worry has never brightened a day, solved a problem, or cured a disease. God leads us. God will do the right thing at the right time and what a difference that makes." -www.ifnotforgod.com

We Christians tend to give our problems so much attention to the point that worry and anxiety sets in, paints the problem so big  and makes us forget how big our God is. Matthew 6:28-30 says “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you.Why do you have so little faith?".. Next time you're faced with a challenge, instead of telling God how big your problem is, tell the problem how big your God is. With this mindset, fear, worry and anxiety will be strangers to you.

Just in case you didn't know, worrying is another form of unbelief  it is just a polite way of saying "I don't know if God is capable of solving this at the right time". If truely you're a child of God then be rest assured all will be well because our father knows what we're going through, He knows exactly what we need, where and when. Philippians 4:6-7 says "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Verse 33 of Matthew 6 says "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." . This sums up the whole thing, if you seek God righteously He'll fulfill all your heart desires. God is not a cheat or some kind of big unseen creature who derives joy in subjecting people to His laws. He is a loving father who cares so much about us. If you work for Him, He'll work for you too!

IF YOU CALL YOURSELF A CHRISTIAN, REGULAR CHURCH MEMBER,BORN - AGAIN, SANCTIFIED WORKER IN CHURCH...YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CALL YOURSELF BUT STILL YOU'RE NOT LIVING A HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS LIFE, PLEASE BETTER START WORRYING! WHY? WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN CAN SEE GOD! IF GOD ISN'T ON YOUR SIDE SO YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. WITHOUT HOLINESS NOT ONLY WILL YOU SUFFER IN VAIN ON EARTH FOR BEING A CHRISTIAN BUT EVERLASTING SUFFERING IS RESERVED FOR ETERNITY TOO!

The challenge today is for us not to worry about things we know God can sort out but there are some things God has given us full authority over and that is our free-will. Your behaviour and obedience to God's word will determine whether you end up in heaven or hell. So here is something you can worry about for few seconds ' WHAT IS YOUR STANDING WITH GOD LIKE? ARE YOU LIVING ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL? '. If yes, well done and keep the fire burning but if no, pleasing I'm begging you, make your ways right with God.

Have a worry, anxiety and stress free week :)

KEEP CALM AND RELAX, GOD IS IN CONTROL

My friends and I have pretty much gone through a lot this year! A lot of things have happened that took us off guard...we've heard cases of sudden death, heartbreaks, disappointments, family issues and other life 'dramas' but in all these, God has really been faithful to us!

I haven't blogged in a while because I've pretty much been all over the place...I travelled to Bradford city weeks ago to visit sister-friend of mine who lost her mum and as you can imagine the news was so painful... I was so close to questioning God! I had so many questions on my mind... How was she going to cope? What was I to say to assure her all was going to be well?... I was so hurt and confused, couldn't come to terms with the fact that my friend had suddenly become an orphan.

On my way to her house, I was all nervous and worried about how I was going to console her but God took control and used the same friend to minister to me during my stay there. She took us all to church for midweek Faith Clinic service and the message preached during that service really touched us all...It was indeed a word in season! This is the bit where I say "Thank God for STRONG friends" I'm so blessed and privileged to have strong sisters(friends) who just know draw strength from the word of God!

These past weeks have really been emotional but we've managed to stay happy! We've encouraged ourselves in the Lord, attended church services, watched interesting movies, made silly jokes, teased each other etc... Although these not so good things have happened to us, we've had more than enough reasons to smile and give God thanks.

Dear friend, I don't know what you are going through at the moment but I want you to know God has not brought you this far to leave you! If He watched it happen then be rest assured He will see you through it! The bible makes us understand that God won't give us more than we can handle... Encourage yourself in the Lord! Things may not look well at the moment but ALL will be well! Like my friends and I learnt at the Faith clinic we attended that Tuesday, the good, the bad and the ugly events will work together for your good if you are truly a child of God!

KEEP CALM AND RELAX, GOD IS IN CONTROL! Your tomorrow will be alright! All will be well! Everything is going to be just fine if only you'll keep on trusting God!

Enjoy the rest of your week
With love,
LadyMay
